Dr. Williesha Livingston, DSW, LCSW
 
Dr. Williesha Livingston is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, educator, and community advocate born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Her journey is one of resilience, purpose, and unwavering commitment to underserved youth and families. Dr. Livingston became a mother at the age of 16, a reality that came with widespread doubt about her future. Despite these challenges, she graduated from Miami Central High School—an achievement many believed she would never accomplish. By the time she entered higher education, she was a mother of four, navigating significant mental, emotional, and financial barriers while remaining determined to build a better life for herself and her children.

She began her academic journey at Miami Dade College, where she earned two Associate degrees, and later obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from Florida International University. Over the years, Dr. Livingston has earned numerous professional accolades, including the President’s Volunteer Service Award, and holds multiple certifications, including Cannabis Youth Treatment and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).​

With over a decade of experience in social work, Dr. Livingston has served youth and families across a variety of settings. Her professional background includes providing individual and group counseling to high school freshmen, delivering outpatient individual and dyadic therapy to children and families, and offering clinical and case management services to juveniles supervised by the Department of Juvenile Justice. During this work, she supported countless adolescents as they transitioned toward young adulthood and actively participated in multidisciplinary treatment teams, gaining a holistic understanding of what children and families truly need to thrive.​

Currently, Dr. Livingston works closely with adolescents and young adults, coordinating and implementing comprehensive supports that address social, emotional, behavioral, medical, financial, and life-skills needs. Guided by both lived experience and professional expertise, she brings compassion, authenticity, and strategic insight to every space she serves.

All of her experiences—both challenging and affirming—have inspired her to develop programs designed to strengthen not only the lives of children in her community, but the families who support them.
